British Beans On Toast (Baked Beans With Toast)

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tinned baked beans
  • 4 sliced bread preferably thick-sliced white bread
  • Butter

Instructions
 

  • Place a small saucepan over medium-low heat, open the can of beans, and empty it into the saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer for about 3-4 minutes stirring occasionally to stop it from burning. Do not let the beans come to a full boil.
  • Toast bread slices in a toaster for about 5 minutes or until browned on both sides to your liking. Spread some butter on one side of the toast once done.
  • Add the beans on top of the toast. serve immediately and enjoy

Microwave instructions

  • Empty the baked beans into a microwaveable bowl, place a microwavable lid on the bowl, or use cling film (poke holes in the cling film to release the steam). Cook on high for about 1 ½-2 minutes Depending on the power of your microwave, or according to the tin instructions.
  • Toast your bread in a toaster until browned to your liking. Apply some butter on one side of each toast once done, add the baked beans on top of the toast. Serve immediately

Notes

How to store leftovers
If you do happen to have any beans leftover, transfer it into an airtight container and store in the fridge for 3-5 days
